Market Square

Market Square celebrates the 22nd Anniversay of Buskers on the Boardwalk and our Boys & Girls Club is their charity of choice. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our Club. Last year you helped raise $13,200.00 and this year with your help we could raise $22,000.00! Market Square is committed to helping us reach that wonderful number! This is an amazing opportunity and in return we provide the event operational volunteers.

OFFICIAL HOURS OF OPERATION:

• Thursday (7pm – 9pm):  1 shift 7 – 9 pm
• Friday (10am – 8pm):  3 shifts 10am – 1pm; 1pm – 5pm; 5pm – 8pm
• Saturday (10am – 8pm): 3 shifts 10am – 1pm; 1pm – 5pm; 5pm – 8pm
• Sunday (12pm – 7pm): 2 shifts 12noon – 4pm; 4pm – 7pm

STATIONS:

• Ticket taking @ 5 Bounce rides;
• Ticket sales, Balloons, 50/50 & Novelty items @ B&G Booth;
• Info Booth; Games; Volunteer Area.
• Need 2 or 3 volunteers per station. Please help with back-to-back shifts or multiple shifts if you are able. Last year everyone did a marvelous job and we thank you.

Marco Polo Cruise Terminal

Our Boys & Girls Club needs your help. Port Saint John is hosting a Community Day with proceeds supporting the Boys & Girls Club. Last year $10,000.00 was raised. There will be a BBQ, games, interactive and educational displays both indoor and outdoor at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal.

We require volunteers for

• setup from 8:30am – 11am,
• event workers 11am – 3pm and
• cleanup crew 3pm – 6pm.

This will be a fun event and with your generous commitment of time and energy it will be a huge success! VOLUNTEER and be a difference-maker!

The event is outdoors, and requires somewhat physically fit individuals (walking, lifting etc.). We also have a few jobs that are more relaxed (information booth etc.).
