Pathways to Education – Volunteer Tutoring

We are actively recruiting volunteers for our tutoring room. In order to provide the highest quality programming for our youth, we rely on hardworking volunteers to serve as tutors for high school students living in the South End/Waterloo Village area.

Volunteer tutors are trained, supervised, and supported by the Pathways staff. Tutoring runs after school with two sessions from 3:45 pm – 5:00 pm and 5:00 pm -6:00 pm Monday through Thursday at the Teen Resource Centre. We will work with your schedule to see which session works best for you!

By helping students improve their academic performance and self-worth, you are making a strong, collective statement about how much our community believes in the potential of our youth. The Pathways’ model has been proven to increase high school graduation within their target communities by 70% and of these graduates, 73% have gone on to pursue post-secondary education and training.
